Sobre o nome - About the name!!!

Acho que eh hora de falar sobre o nome deste Blog...
Parece obvio que somente juntamos nossos nomes...
Mas eh mais do que isso...
A coisa eh que queriamos encontrar um NOME...
Um nome que combinasse com o jeito Sri Lanka de ser...
Aqui os nomes sao definitivamente estranhos...
A nao ser pelos de Silva ou de Zilva...:)
Ou ainda Fernandos (sobrenome)
O Sri Lanka teve uma colonizacao portuguesa antes dos inglese...
Sendo assim queriamos um nome que parecesse Sri Lankan...
Que nao so fosse estranho mas unissex..
Um exemplo pra que entendam..
O RH da organizacao chama-se Suminda...
Achavamos que era mulher...
E...eh homem!!!
Ai a pessoa das financas nos mandou email..
Chamada Samanmalee...
Bom..pra nao ter erro pensamos:
Eh homem...
E chegando aqui...mulher!!!
Por isso nao tem mesmo como adivinhar...
Eh tudo unissex mesmo...
Robertanda pode ser qualquer coisa...
O que cabe perfeitamente aos nossos objetivos...

Well...it is time to talk about the name of this Blog...
It seems that we just put our names together...
But no...it is more than that!
The thing is that we would like to find a NAME..
A name that would fit the Sri Lanka's way of being...
Here the names are defenitely weird...
So we were trying to find a name that sounded Sri Lankan..
And that would not just be weird but both male and female...
An example to understand what I am trying to say is:
The HR of the organization is Suminda...
We thought that it was a woman...
Guess what??? MAN
Then the finances person wrote to us...Samanmalee..
Okay we said...to not make mistakes again..it is a man..
And....it is a woman...
So..there is no way to guess ...
Anyway....Robertanda we thought could match the requirements...:)
Nobody would guess correct about the name...
And that is exactly the point!!!
